CARBONIC ORANGE, 2023
Stone fruits, like nectarines, perfectly ripe peaches, and apricots, with a honeyed and high note of gooseberries. This year is more concentrated––less white tea vibes of 2022 and more like a deliciously round Viognier.
Orange wine made with organic Okanagan Valley Gewürztraminer and Riesling; 8-days full carbonic maceration––no oxygen present in a stainless steel tank & removing free-run juice; no fining, filtering, or additives except low sulphur. Only 180 cases made; available in the wine club & select wine establishments.
ISLAND VIBES, 2023
Raspberries, black currant, and cherries. Island Vibes 2023 is light and bright with high acid––just the way we like it for summery fun picnicky patio wines.
Red and white co-ferment made with organic Saanich Peninsula, Vancouver Island Foch and Ortega macerated on the skins for 10 days before being pressed into a stainless steel tank; unfined, unfiltered, and no additives beyond trace sulphur. 250 cases made; available in the wine club and select wine establishments.
PINOT NOIR, PEACHLAND, 2023
Wild strawberry Smucker's jam (without the sweetness), balanced with an earthiness and a nice concentrated palate. Smells like a quintessential Pinot Noir with a hint of vanilla, despite fermenting in neutral oak barrels.
Light red wine made from organic Pinot Noir from a single vineyard in Peachland, BC, 6-days skin-contact and resting in neutral oak barrels over winter; no fining, filtering, or additives beyond trace sulphur; only 50 cases made, available in the wine club and online only.
